Olympics Beauty

I think this photo above (produced by Agência Brasil) of the 2008 Olympics Opening Ceremony in Beijing China is amazing. The event was directed by Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou and was noted for its focus on ancient Chinese culture and creativity. It was a visual feast for the eyes. The choreography was sensational.

More amazing photos..

  1. Karyn,

Those photos are awe inspiring. I missed the ceremony on TV, so seeing these beautiful shots made me even more sorry that I hadn’t been able to view it.
What a visual celebration of mankind. The wonders of the various cultures of our planet are accessible through the magic of technology. Now, if we could only learn to respect and appreciate each other.
    Peace, friend–

  2. It was truly spectacular, China has certainly tried to put themselves forward as an advancing society, and at this rate , they could leave the west for dust as a beautiful country.

  3. Olympic openings are a must see event. It features certain acts that is breathtakingly overwhelming. I just love the one held at China. I wasn’t there though. Oh how I wish I could see the Olympics in real life.
