Beautiful Manatees

If you’ve been visiting LivePeaceandPassion.com for a while, you know that I adore Manatees.. I got permission to share these two wonderful photos with you here. I hope you enjoy them and take a few moments to also visit SAVETHEMANATEE.ORG – a precious organization focused on protecting manatees and their aquatic habitats for future generations.. I am the proud adoptive mom of Whiskers, a West Indian Manatee who is being cared for at the Blue Springs State Park in Florida. I will scan and share a picture of him next post. :) Meanwhile, enjoy these photos of Whiskers’ friends below.

    Thanks for sharing these amazing photos. I remember seeing my first manatee when I moved to Florida some 33 years ago. I was in awe! I do hope they make it and do not become extinct. It would be a shame because they really are gentle creatures.
