Donating Blood

For her 16th birthday, this young donor wanted to give the gift of life, by donating blood for the first time. The experience went well and the different steps she took are displayed her and explained in captions below.

    What a great way to celebrate her birthday!

    I donate blood at least once a year. My husband thinks I’m crazy. My take on giving blood, I’m healthy enough to give blood, donation is one way to pay back my good health. It has been over half a year since I’ve donated and the “Vampire Patrol” as my kids call them has been calling.

    Tell her she did well.

    What an unselfish girl she is. To spend her B-day giving to others. You should be very proud of her. Tell her that!!!!! If only others could learn from her this world would be a much better place:)
