Manatees – Water’s Peaceful Giants
There is no mammal like preciously peaceful and curious Manatee. These herbivores are protected under the Endangered Species Act, so grabbing them, feeding, surrounding, or chasing them can be considered harassment and therefore illegal. Manatees need our help and I know there are others, like myself, who believe it is important to spread awareness of this topic. Today, I viewed and want to share an award-winning video that informs of and documents manatee harassment at the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. I hope you take a few minutes to watch it.
